The Views and Personal Opinions
of Joel Block
Sir,
I read in today's Jerusalem Post that
you, "deplore" Hezbollah's actions, but that Israel's "excessive
use of force is to be condemned."
You, sir, are a totally despicable
human being, the most inept Secretary General in the history of
what has become one of the most corrupt organizations on the face
of the earth.
Israel and the IDF are doing what is
necessary to defend the Jewish People from another Holocaust, and
to help defend the world from Islamofascism.
While you were head of peacekeeping
during the Rwandan Civil War in 1994, an estimated 800,000 to
1,071,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were slaughtered by extremist
Hutu militia groups, because you ignored the warnings of Major
Romeo Dallaire, the leader of the UN peacekeeping force in Rwanda
about the impending genocide and pulled out most of the UN forces.
In Darfur, Sudan, at least 400,000
people have died so far in the ethnic cleansing being carried out
by the Janjaweed Militia, which operates under the
auspices of the Fundamentalist Islamic government in Khartoum,
while the UN, under your weak, useless leadership does nothing.
If the Tutsis would have had a group
like the IDF to defend them, maybe the genocide would have been
prevented. If the farmers of Darfur would have a group like the
IDF to defend them, maybe things would be different there.
I know that your term of office is up
on December 31, 2006, but you should resign now and let someone
more capable take over. Before you do, give back the Nobel Peace
Prize that you were awarded in 2001; you are certainly one of the
least deserving recipients in the history of the award.
